Red Butterfly (2013) Synopsis :

The lives of Tonio (Morgado), his petty crook best friend, TC (Heredia), and his beautiful lover Cleo (Evangelista) are tightly woven together in this downwardly spiraling thriller. RED BUTTERFLY is the story of two star-crossed lovers, Tonio and Cleo, whose lives get caught in the crosshairs of TCs hellish nightmare.

A woman's death from an apparent drug overdose is the catalyst for a chain of events that cant be undone. When it's discovered that TC may be responsible, Tonio and TC try to cover it up. TC has other plans and the situation goes from bad to worse when Detective Dutch Fred (Laurence Mason) gets thrown in the fray.

Pressured by crime figure, Vinny the Killer (Stephens), TCs mental state freefalls. Knowing that Cleo, has a drug problem, TC convinces her to sell drugs to feed her habit. Cleo's condition fades as her dreams are dashed and her drug addiction races out of control. Tonio decides to act but its too late. Drug use and depression have left Cleo numb to the world around.......
